URGENT PRODUCT RECALL NOTICE

Dear Valued Customers,

We are writing to inform you of an important product recall affecting certain products that you have purchased from Eplusbatteries. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we apologize for any inconvenience this recall may cause.

Issue with these products:

We found that these products mentioned above are tested unsafe to use. These batteries failed to meet BS EN 62133-2:2017. There is a Risk of Fire regarding these mentioned batteries since these battery pack did not have an adequate Battery Management System (BMS) to protect from undervoltage and overvoltage.

The battery packs offload voltage upon arrival to the laboratory greatly exceeded the rated voltage stated on the rating plate. This could cause a dangerous incompatibility scenario.

Stop Using the Product: Please cease using the affected product immediately.

Return Instructions: We kindly ask that you return the affected product(s) to us for a full refund.

Refund/Replacement: Once we receive the returned product(s), we will promptly process a refund or provide a replacement as per your preference.

1. What's Required for Return: Nothing is required in order to return mentioned products.

2. Preferred Shipping Method: We recommend using Yodel or Hermes for returns, as they are two of the major delivery service that can transport Lithium-ion batteries in the UK. It's important to transport Lithium-ion batteries while following their guidelines, you may contact your local Yodel or Hermes service number to have a better understanding of the specific requirements.  If you are not confortable with contacting people from Yodel or Hermes, please feel free to require help here at Eplus via email, our email address is info@eplusbatteries.com

3. Return Cost Coverage: We will provide prepaid shipping labels for returns to cover your shipping costs. Simply contact our customer service team to receive your prepaid shipping label.
